LGBTQ+ Inclusion Networks play an important part in creating visible, safe, and inclusive spaces for LGBTQ+ people living in Greater Western Sydney.
There are now five LGBTQ+ Inclusion Networks across Greater Western Sydney. Networks were established over the last 12+ years with the Parramatta Queer Forum established in 2009 and the most recent Western Sydney Rainbow Connection established in 2020.
LGBTQ+ Inclusion Networks are governed/organised by local service providers who Chair meetings and coordinate working groups that organise inclusion activities like events and training.
Networks are resourced via small grants, contributions from their members and other in-kind donations. ACON provides each Network with a grant via South Eastern Sydney LHD.
